How a contract settles on its underlying. Distinct from who arbitrates (arbitration_model) and from the resolution source.

Term	Definition
touch	Resolves YES if the level is touched at any time before expiry.
terminal	Resolves on the underlying value at a fixed date or time.
relative	Resolves on a change measured relative to a baseline.
occurrence	Resolves on whether a discrete event happened.

Values match the canonical schema exactly. Definitions are licensed CC-BY-4.0. Old versions remain canonical at their URL; a deprecated term is marked but kept for at least 12 months. See the full schema and methodology.
