The class of authority a market resolves against. Source commitment (named vs. placeholder) is graded separately — see /methodology.

regulated_data_vendor | A regulated benchmark or data vendor (CF Benchmarks, ICE). |
media_consensus | A consensus of credible reporting. |
court_filing | A court filing or ruling. |
issuer_announcement | An official announcement by the issuer or subject. |
scheduled_event | A scheduled event whose occurrence is the resolution. |
subjective | No named data source; resolution is judgment or consensus. |
other | A source type not covered by the above. |
